I'm so siked up for this movie, I can't even wait to see it. It got rave reviews at the sundance festival. The spike Lee directed film looks like it's going to deliver.

Airs tonight on ESPN @ 9 pm

Here is a little something to whet the appetite.

I loved this when Reggie Miller gave the Knicks the DAGGGER in that game as I hated that punk ass John Starks and the Knicks.

Also liked Ric Smits "The Dunking Dutchman" on that Pacers team underated but his feet did him in

Spike Lee will be starring in it, indirectly, as he was courtside, for the greatest meltdown in history, along with one of the single GREATEST performances by any one athlete, in any one game, ever.......we'll never see anything like it again, and i still dont really believe i saw it then.....the way it happened is just unimaginable, in such a short time, for one guy to take over like he did, and win it by himself......you applaud guys for hitting a buzzer beat to win a game, and Reggie did it about 4 times in :20 seconds or so in this game......amazing

Spike lee did not direct it - Dan Klores did
Whoops. You are correct. Bad assumption on my part.

Listening to the Dan Patrick show, where Reggie is a regular guest and he gave me the impression Spike directed it.

Speaking of Reggie The comparisons between my favorite all time player Reggie Lewis and Miller had it's fair share of buzz back in the day.

"Lewis, who's only Boston's third-leading scorer, received support for things he docs that don't show up on the stat sheet. One assessment: " Lewis is a more complete player, and he's maybe a little more team oriented." Another: " Lewis can play two positions, and he can help you without scoring points."

" Reggie Lewis is more versatile, but Reggie Miller is tough—he doesn't back away from anybody," says Bernie Bicker-staff, the Nuggets' general manager and one of the two fence sitters. In '87, neither Miller nor Lewis won a Reggie referendum. In the draft that year, the Clippers picked 6'7" shooting guard Reggie Williams—now with Denver—ahead of them both."

I remember one SI issue that had a poll which Reggie is better I think Lewis won it going away. RIP.

"single GREATEST performances by any one athlete, in any one game ever"

ROFL.

Um... all the did was hit a 3, steal the ball, hit another 3, then
get fouled and make the foul shots.

To even hint that that won't be seen again, or say that it's one of
the greatest performances of all time is laughable.

One could easily argue that McGrady's 4 3's at the end of this game is
a greater feat.

BTW, I'm a big Reggie fan, and always rooted for him against the Knicks.
Just trying to put the feat into perspective...

Look at the comments on the youtube page for that McGrady video:

"how many playoffs series have you won MCcrybaby...I'll remind you , you are 0 for 7 you piece of shit crybaby...leaving Toronto and saying Bosh should too...all you niggers are the same, play for money not a xchampionship...Mcgrady who? didn't know he was still in the NBA"

Some people are just shitheads. McGrady is a loser? Really? I'd love to see the guy who put that comment. Probably has accomplished nothing in his life yet feels the need to comment on this.

Also, he clearly traveled before he hit that last three, taking three
steps after the dribble.

On a side note, Celtic Ray Allen will surpass Reggie's all-time
three-pointer record some time next season as long as he
stays healthy.

gained 100 times more respect for reggie when i went to an orlando / indiana game a few years ago.

he was role player then and played maybe 10 minutes .

but he was the first guy off the bench for every timeout rooting his team on. didnt look a guy just playing out his contract or career .

was a great teammate....
