going to first ncaa hoops regional- need info on new orleans

Taking wife to her first regional and my first too. First time for us to new orleans too.

Any recommendations on a place to stay near the new orleans arena?

Does 1 ticket give you access to all games or do you have to buy seperate tickets to each game?

I stayed at a real nice hotel across the street from harrahs casino... can't recall the name though

Hilton right across from Harrahs is a ok place to stay. Hilton Riverside. I stay there every time I go to New Orleans. You can get a trolly pass in the mall behind the hilton ask someone at the desk they will tell you and you can ride the trolly all day for cheap. they also have a 3 day trolly pass too.

It will be one ticket for the games on Thursday/Friday and seperate ticket for the Regional Final on Saturday/Sunday.

I wouldn't stay by New Orleans Arena. Stay in the Qtr. How much do you want to spend?

JW Marriott is about $175 per night, but it will cost you $32 a night for parking, if you have a car.

Yea u dont want to stay around the Arena or the 1's right around the Superdome. The casino end is the much safer area...

would stay in quarter that's where you will end up late at night anyway. pm me and will send you a list of hotels with good prices and location.
if you never been to new orleans you are in for a treat.
