Not big on tennis at all , but found this entertaining. :toast:

It kind of surprised me, as it seemed as though Andre took offense
at Pete, and made it personal, and Pete you could tell really was
hurt by Andre's comments.

I would have thought at this stage in their careers (and given their
Davis Cup play) that they wouldn't be taking this stuff as seriously
as they did.

It looks like there isn't as much of a friendship there as people
perhaps thought.

I read both of their auto-biographies that have come out in the past year,
and while neither wrote of the other as being a buddy, it seemed there
was mutual respect, and a certain amount of friendship there. This
clip seemed to indicate that there are some underlying hard feelings
there.

It was somewhat painful to watch.

Though, Pete could have brought it to an even lower level by
mentioning Andre's past crystal meth usage while on tour.

Yea you could tell pete didnt like those cheap comments , and if it would have kept going i could see that meth jab coming out in no time.

interesting to watch but a needless lowblow by Agassi, even after he crossed the line how does he not stop when its obvious to everyone that Pete isn't taking it well?

yeah agassi is a douche bag as he knows that if sampras wanted to he could have abused him. I guess agassi knew sampras enough as to be a nice enough person he was able get away with that. Wow, I mean what a dick Agassi!
Sampras should have put him in his place, he a better man than me..

Yeah after watching it and reading all of the stories about, Agassi apparently didn't like when Sampras & Federer took the lead & pumped his fist as if it was some big event.

Agassi then said something to Sampras about he always has to get serious about everything, meaning he was taking it too serious as it was just a charity event.

That's when Sampras proceeded to mock Andre and how he walks, etc., which Agassi didn't like either and then mentioned about Pete being a bad tipper....

yeah, i think prob more being made out of it than there is, but you could def tell that Sampras felt uneasy about being labeled cheap in front of everyone....

and the sad part is, the guy has millions and millions and millions....if he doesnt tip its a shame....cuz i can almost bet he's the type that EXPECTS to be treated special when he goes anywhere, and yet he wont reciprocate...

Agassi, took a shot, for sure, but Sampras was making fun of him first doing the duck walk..
