Im flipping through the channels and I see Donald Trump on TV. Hasnt he filed for BK like 3 times? I would never do this but Im a 750-800 credit score. Could I cash advance all my credit cards, go to vegas and file BK? WTF?

The only reason a consumer needs good credit is to allow them to get more credit. If you don't have any plans on borrowing money from an institutional lender to buy a house, a car, or open credit cards, then filing for BK won't affect you. Most people need those 3 things, and having a BK on your credit report adversely affects your borrower power.

So, hypothetically speeking, lets say I have a house with no mortgage and I drive cheap paid for cars and the only thing I need a credit card for is to fund my sports book (lol), there is really nothing stopping me from applying for as many cards as i can get, cash advancing them and putting it all on the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 1?

This is why our country is a mess but damn that is sooooo tempting. Hell, if it wins, the borrower could pay it back? If it doesnt, BK like the rest of the country.

Don't go and charge your cards up in anticipation of bankruptcy. If the court can tell you did so, then it will not grant you bankruptcy

To look closer into BR, go to the federal court's (in your district) website and look for the bankruptcy portion. There should be guides on there that explain the process

I'm pretty sure that Donald Trump has personally filed for bankruptcy. From what' i've read, if you have ever declared bankruptcy it's nearly impossible to open a casino in Las Vegas. I'm pretty sure Wynn had something to do with it. Which I believe is why Trump was never permitted to open a casino out there.

if you wanna max out your ccs and file bankruptcy, you have to wait like a year or two....i'm pretty sure the court looks at debt accumulated in the last 6 or 9 months prior to filing and they will NOT relieve you of that debt that is obviously cashing in before bankruptcy.

You really have to read up on the rules cause there are few things they CANNOT touch....(house, car, etc.)

good credit is tough to get....don't waste 750-800 score on a scheme

single ?

how much you make ?

no , i'm no hitting on you.. these are factors ..

Not married but with my current gf for 3.5 years. Pay is based on commision -best year 90k worst year 40k. In my early 30's. Honestly, I could never do this. Im just curious to know what would stop anyone from trying. I have dealt with my share of scumbags who dont pay any credit accounts, whether it be gambling, rent, loans, visa, mastercard, child support, you name it. Ive seen the worst of the worst credit scores. It just doesnt seem like the penalty that would be paid would outway the shot at a solid free roll, depending of course on how much cash advance or credit you can build up. You wouldnt even need a cash advance for these online books. What if you could build up a $100,000 account and take a couple free shots at $20000 a game?
