SAVE ME! UNC -8.5 over William & Mary.. Craziest Line Ever??

I can't understand this line on the UNC vs William Mary... This is the craziest line I have seen in my life....

I rarely gamble. But What's from keeping me from getting every dollar I can and putting it on UNC.

I am a ODU alum and follow the CAA closely. William & Mary is a medicore team regardless of their record. They will completely rely on outside shooting and 3s and have no inside game and can't rebound the ball at all.. I mean at all..

You know its bad that the last time these teams played in 2005, UNC was a 40.5 point favorite!!

Please convince me that I should not lay as much I can on UNC.. I dont enjoy gambling on basketball, but I don't know if I can let this slide, Unless you can convince me otherwise.

Why should i NOT lay it all on UNC! Help! ~~:<<

You're better off with VCU than UNC. UNC is a young team and has struggled mightly. The 3 ball will likely keep W&M in it, but what do I know.

These teams are vastly different than 3 years ago.

Not saying they aren't both opposite than 3 years ago.. I completely agree, but W&M is only an average mid major team with no stars and no real strengths...

I like that VCU game, but I think they have too many weaknesses. Both VCU and W&M overachieved this year... Northeastern and Old Dominion was the best of that conference...

William & Mary will shot the 3, but they will have to hit 45%-50% from 3 to have a chance, If William and Mary could rebound at all I wouldn't love this, but I think UNC destroys them on the offensive glass.. as well the defensive rebounds

Here's what I see:

UNC FG % 44.3 to 42.5 this is due to a lot of 3 point shots missed by WM

FT WM 69.4% to 65.7% This is a wash.

3pt% WM 35% to 33.6% this heavily favors WM because of the sheer amount of 3 point shots. They will gain points in this area.

On the D side they are even on the % allowed for opponents FG% and actually WM is slightly better 44.1 to 44.4%

WM is 13-3 ATS as a dog while going 9-7 SU in those games.

WM is 6-1 ATS in non conference games and I will add 2-0 ATS and 2-0 SU on the road vs the ACC this year.

Carolina was 10-19 ATS basically covering 1/3 of the time.

WM beat Richmond, won at Wake Forest by 10 and surprise they won at Maryland by 8 as 12.5 dogs. They seemed to play down in the conference which is typical due to the familiarity but outside of the conference they did exceptionally well and seeing they beat a 9 seed, a 7 seed and a 4 seed along with playing close to Old Dom in 2 of their 3 meetings and a win over VCU I think they can hang with the undermanned UNC team.

If it was my $ I would rather side with W&M in this one.

Now that I said all of this watch UNC win by 40.

One other thing this is being played at Carmichael instead of the Dean Dome so it won't be quite the setting UNC typically has at home. I am assuming they aren't going to expect a big crowd and with spring break the student section will likely be very slim.

I saw the numbers against the numbers against the ACC, that was impressive for WM, but this is early in the year....

Earlier in the year UNC beat Michigan St in a rematch of the National Championship game, which Mich St is basically the same team...

It's hard for me to put much value in WM overall numbers as they beat up on bad CAA teams...

I apperciate the effort. I didn't know it wasn't played on campus...

I don't know... I still feel just as strong, but I don't want to feel that way. I don't want to bet on this game, but if it covers, I will kick my own ass

Now, I have no idea if W&M can cover the spread, but I can tell you they will be looking to put a Tar Heel scalp on the belt if they possibly can...

i would not put a dollar on this carolina bunch, they drop the tickets from 40 down to 20 dollars to get people to come to this game, bol if you use carolina but no way would i want my money on this group.ck

I thought that Carolina +14 at Duke was a mistake too and I put more on it than I should have and regreted it. This Carolina team cannot be trusted it is W&M or no play

I learned my lesson this year...this isn't your typical Tarheels and this isn't your typical W&M....they took down some majors this season.

UNC should cover that spread easily... if they care about winning. Who knows if they just want to call it a year at this point though...

I don't know which way to go in this game yet. W+M probably want to be their a lot more than UNC. However with all they shit that's been talked about UNC they might just want to try and prove they're not chumps.

I don't think Roy is the type of coach to ever let that happen. (give up on a season) I mean this is UNC. they have a reputation to uphold.

this is incredible. W n M are knocking down a 3 literally every possession. I have never seen a team shoot so many.
