We had a "sandwich shop" in town, you walk into the back room and there was a table with all of the days odds written on a sheet of paper and a bunch of small paper slips and pencils to right down your bets. You hand the guy your slip with your money, he puts a rubber band around it and throws it in his box. If you won, you could pick it up the next day. This was the last place of its kind that I know of in my town and it closed around 8-10 years ago. I have a friend who goes to a lot of poker games in town and he says that sometimes there is a sports guy there who will take action. Do these local, post up, pick up the next day sports betting places still exist anywhere?
