I got it too. You have to install the casino cd that comes with it. I think you can't even use it to bet on sports.

I hear they are horrible so I didn't even bother. I just threw it out.

Got it as well. No CD, and you can bet on sports.

Bet $100 on cal at PK

bet $190.90 on Ohio +350 tomorrow.

They don't have a good rating at all on SBR, so iguess we'll see if they payout if i (or anyone else) somehow meet rollover.

What a crappy site. You need to get over $1500 just to start your actual winnings.

And no parlays so mine is already violated even though it has no rules listed.

Well, about two and half weeks ago I received an email asking me if I wanted to open an account - which would then be seeded with $250. I figured, what the heck.

The email said there were two conditions - (A) I couldn't get a payout for at least 30 days, and (B) the credit had to roll over at least 15 times before it was regarded as genuine cash.

I have now taken that $250 and through various baseball plays (and a few casino plays), it is now worth - as of 15 minutes ago after the Red Sox won - $2350. Obviously there have been some losses, but I figure that so far I have rolled over that $250 about 12-14 times. I'm sure it will have rolled over at least 15 times before I decide to pull anything out.

When I started I was playing $10-$15 a play - now it's up to $50-$120 a play. If I get past $3500 I'll probably go to $250 a play. I hope that when a month rolls around I'll be able to get $1200 out, plus have a sizable bankroll going forward.

But I am still concerned - will they really pay me? How long will it take to get the money? Will they go bellyup when I'm ready to withdraw?

The site itself looks very clean, and is easier to use than sites like Betus. My favs are Sportsbook.com and TheGreek.com, but if this site follows through on it's promises I'll recommend it to everyone.

Sometimes the line spread is a bit far apart, but for the most part they seem competitive. I use their lines now in my picker thread, at this link:

If anyone has real experience with this site, good OR bad, please let me know.

This is the exact email:

Hi,

Since you're reluctant to try us out, and I'm convinced you'll be happy with us once you do, simply open an account (no credit card required) and email me your username and I'll add $250.00 so you can try our site risk free.

If after that, you feel comfortable enough to make a deposit with us, I will still give you a 100% Real Money Match Bonus on your first deposit up to $1000.00.

Take us up on the offer......you've got nothing to lose!

Please note the bonus must be rolled over 15 times, and you cannot make a withdrawal for 30 days.

Sincerely,

<rep name at oddsmaker.com>
I did more research on oddsmaker, and 90% of it is pretty depressing. If it's slow payouts, well, I can wait - this is almost free money. If they're going to "invalidate" me or my bets, well, I'm mostly doing straight bets, and I don't think I'm going outside to realm of what is expected on a sportbook site.

I've been looking for loopholes, and I'm not saying there aren't any, I just haven't found them yet.

Well, we'll see, like I said - I'll let you all know what happens.

For the end of the weekend, my balance is now $3000. Wish I had done my plays in Sportsbook as well..

I've been pretty hot (2nd place according to the tracker page), maybe the only reason the gambling gods have been nice to me is because I really can't expect to see any of the money. Ah well.

You have to find the small print somewhere on the site.

There is no way in hell you will get all that money.

It's probably like the one i had where you need to get to a certain point like make $1500 and then you starting earning money with a max payout. And that's if your not DQ'd for parlays or casino games.

Best case scenario is you walk away with a couple hundred, and it's 50/50 you get nothing.

Well, I had another good day....now up to around $4000.

BUT I've been perusing oddsmaker's "Terms & Conditions" section, and came across this little bit of information:

Free $100 Specific Terms and Conditions

<table id="table18" style="border-collapse: collapse;" width="100%" bgcolor="#8c2d2f" border="1" bordercolor="#808080" cellpadding="3" cellspacing="0"> <tbody><tr> <td> Please note that if you wager bonus money on parlays or teasers, you will be disqualified from the promotion and winnings will be voided.
</td> </tr> </tbody></table>

  • In order to participate, you must register an account entering your unique promotion code/number.
  • Bonus money cannot be played on or transferred to our multi-table poker room.
  • All sportsbook wager types other than parlays or teasers are permitted when wagering under this promotion.
  • The Bonus money must be wagered 10 times and the account balance must be brought up to a minimum of $1500. Only the winnings above $1500 can be withdrawn. The maximum amount that you can withdraw is $1000.
  • The promotion concludes once a withdrawal is requested, the remaining balance will then be removed from your account during the withdrawal process.
  • This offer cannot be combined with any deposits or other promotional offers. Once you have concluded with this promotion, you are still eligible to claim initial deposit bonuses!
  • Persons who have already claimed the free $100 promotion (or similar bonus) are not eligible to claim it again.
  • General Terms and Conditions will also apply.
SO....it looks like no matter how I good I am, the most I can withdraw from the site is $1000. Maybe. I actually received $250 (not $100) in my promotion, so MAYBE I might be able to get $2500?

Anyway, as of this point I'm sure I've rolled over that initial $250 over 20 times, so I'm not worried about that.

My biggest concern now is that (A) they'll take eons to pay, or (B) they might welch and not pay at all.

Reading even MORE - I see that parlays and teasers are not permitted. I wanted to try them out as part of the site, so OF COURSE I played them. And even won a couple.

DAMN.

Wrote a letter to oddsmaker.com:

I have been trying out your website, and I have to tell you that I have had an incredible run of luck with oddsmaker.com. I have managed to turn the $250 into almost $4000. However, I have been trying all aspects of your site, and that includes trying out parlays. I even won a couple of them.

Some friends have cautioned me about oddsmaker.com, and that I should read EVERY inch of the website.

There is nothing about a $250 promotion, but there is a section on a $100 promotion, and the details are such:

  • I can’t get more than $1000 (against the $100 promotion), and only amounts over winnings of $1500 will be paid out. Any remaining balance would be removed.
  • “All sportsbook wager types other than parlays or teasers are permitted when wagering under this promotion.”

In your email below, you make no reference to these rules. I can understand the $1000 payout limit, but the parlay rule has me concerned. What does this mean for me?
