It was not an OPED (opinion of a single writer) but rather a product of the Editorial Board at Florida's largest newspaper.

You're welcome to disbelieve their conclusions. I'll choose to have continued trust in the journalism and also editorial opinions from this newspaper which I've found to be one of the most solid in North America. And that's after spending nine years doing media relations work for several non-profits which had me routinely tracking editorial opinions from over 100 major North American newspapers.

And it should be noted that I have absolutely no idea if the postive effects of the federal stimulus bill here in Florida are any more or less positive than in MPlastered's Pennsylvana, in Nevada or anywhere else. I've not taken the time nor frankly had the interest to learn how other parts of the country are faring with regard to this aspect of economic recovery in 2010.

I respect the perceptions offered from other parts of the country by most any Rx PPub denizen, including you - DinVegas - Mplast, Willie99 and others. And I appreciate the honest sharing of such perceptions since it's not a topic I follow very closely outside of Florida and Texas

I lied. I just can’t resist driving one more nail into the coffin.

Florida unemployment hit record 12.2 percent in February

Business has picked up immensely for me here in Pa. We're already working 7 days a week, I just hired 2 more guys and still can't keep pace. Not sure about any where else in Pa, but my area southeast of Pittsburgh is booming.

Do you think it’s a direct result of the stimulus or in spite of it? Not trying to be a wise ass, serious question.

    PS Glad to hear it

All the more reason we're very pleased here in Florida that the 2009 federal stimulus bill helped save tens of thousands of public education jobs and is financing thousands of jobs for the highways and high speed rail during the coming year and into at least 2015

Hey, thanks for weighing in. I'm also experiencing my best March in past four years, though I confess a decent contributor to that has been my trading in three hours a day as RxForum Mod for three hours a day making Real Money in my lawn/garden work and setting up our internet marketing biz

I wonder how many jobs we'll lose when we have to pay back the stimulus money + interest.

Most of my business is new housing. Part of this great start is a carryover of last years sells that could not be started due to the weather. Some of it is due to the water damage, also brought on by the weather. I'll take it.

Uh huh...tell that to Dan Rather with his phony documents that got him fired.

CBS got caught red handed trying to throw the election against GW.

Poor Bambi...he has one network that dares to question him with real reporting...GW had the entire global left wing media making shit up for 5 years.
