The shirt will go to the first poster who posts the correct answer to the particular trivia question in each thread.

Brief limitations:

1. I can only ship to posters residing in the US and Canada.
2. Sizes are limited - when I get a winner I will list what is available and that poster can pick what he or she wants.
3. There is no charge or obligation to play. Naturally I need a name and address (emailed privately) to send you winners your shirts to.

I will post the frist question in post #2 of this thread.

Remember first poster in with the correct answer will be the winner. I will be final arbiter on disputed answers.

This is for fun, I know you will use Google so I am not even going to worry about it. Mods (except myself) can play...I will keep the questions in the 20th century mostly and maybe some in this new century, no 1800 stuff.

Thanks, wil...:toast:

Question #1 - Three Pitchers accomplished this feat.

Three pitchers accomplished this feat in baseball history multiple times (at least twice).

Name the feat and the 3 pitchers who have accomplished it.

Time frame: All three accomplished the feat in question post the 1950 season all the way up until the 2009 season.. They could have accomplished the feat one time as far back as the 1950 season and as recent as 2009.

First correct answer wins...

You can guess all you want - first answer not correct (in this case), there may have ben several others to have similar starts. Plus they would have to have done it more than once.

This feat is unnique to the pitchers that did it,

Three of the pitchers who have accomplished the feat have done so in their rookie seasons: Eller, Thurston, and Ashby.

Still all nopes. The feat had to be done at least twice and by only the three pitchers involved in the correct answer.

A little help

The feat is not that bizarre or obscure, like got picked off first twice each during their careers by the same guy. This is a real prestigious baseball accomplishment. Had nothing to do with hitting.

(probably just gave it away).
