MARCH MADNESS 2010 - Bracket Contest
Rules & Terms and Conditions

The contest will start on March 16 and will run until the tip of the Sweet 16 (TBA - 25th, March). Entries to this contest are earned by depositing to your betting account ($200 = 1 entry) You can start collecting entries from the 1st March. Simply select the sweet 16 winners to start, once you have selected them the elite 8 drop down boxes will become available and so on through to the national championship game. Each full bracket = 1 Entry collected.

Tip: It is advantageous to place all your entries on the final day of the contest before it closes.

All accounts will get 1 free entry. Additional entries will be given for every $200 deposited to your account. Free Entries are entitled to win a Max $100 prize. Paid entries are eligible to win a Max $5000 prize. The top 100 performers are prize eligible. The absolute worst performer is also prize eligible. Prizes will be allocated based on performance as follows: 1st Place- $5000, 2nd Place- $4000, 3rd Place- $3000, 4th Place- $2000, 5th Place- $1000, 6th Place to 15th place- $750, 16th Place to 25th Place- $500, 26th Place to 40th Place- $400, 41st Place to 80th place- $300, 81st place to 100th Place-$200, Dead Last Place- $500, Places will be decided by both selection accuracy and time of entry submission. Entry submission time is the tie-breaking factor where accuracy of selections are equal. All prizes come with an 8x rollover before withdrawal can be made from account. Clients may have multiple entries, but only under the same account number, and based on 1 free entry plus any entries resulting from deposits of $200 or more. Prizes will be announced and paid to accounts on April 8th 2010 as Bonus Play money. Prizes only available to be won by depositing customers.

It seems advantageous ( IMO) to enter early, as that is the tiebreaker, so I disagree with the tip.

What is a depositing customer ?

Is it someone that has ever deposited ?

It means you need to have made a recent (last couple of months) deposit with us in order to qualify for main prize. We want to reward real players more so than free accounts. Any deposit is fine...even $25 is ok.

If you cant log in, contact memberservices@betphoenix.com and they will add your entry for you.

The last place finisher prize is based on the remaining real 16 teams in the tourney upon submission closing this Thursday.

Both are true, just the max payment will be $100 for a free entry account regardless of prize position.

I just cotacted live chat to report the problem and they transferred me to "otto" who wanted to call me at home. I said I'll pass. No need to call me at home for a "Free" entry to a contest. I get enough cold calls from them as it is.

Richard,

I have been told that as long as a deposit is made before the final four tips off (even $25) that the client will be eligible for the full prize. Can you please confirm this as there is another thread asking the same question.

Thanks for another great contest sponsored by BetPhoenix.:toast:

interesting to see who wins this.....according to the standings, in the top 100, there was NO ONE who had either butler or Duke going to the final game...thats weird..

also depends how its graded, which i cant find anywhere.....if its a progressive scoring system, then if those charts are true, any of us who had duke in the final game and duke to win it all, oughta leapfrog a ton of people....if its a weird scoring system of a point for all games, we should still move up....

just find it hard to believe out of the 16 teams left, NO ONE in the top 100 would have picked Duke to be in final game....
