Have you ever tracked what you eat? I know Harrarington says he eats 1500 calories a day.

Well, I have been watching what I eat, not writing it down, but with no sucess at dropping weight.

My breakfast consist of roughly 800 calories alone.

Grant it, I generally workout at least once, sometimes twice a day.

But this was a real eye opener for me. I have been writing EVERYTHING down that I eat. and boy oh boy, no wonder I can't drop weight.

Shouldn't consume more then 1,800 calories a day unless you like spend hours at the gym everyday.

I'm thinking 2000 calorie and I will still lose weight.

Resting, with no movement I burn roughly 74 calories an hour that is 1776 calories in a 24 hour period.

Now, I am highly active. My job is VERY physical. And I do at least 45 mins of cardio 5 days a week and lift.

I am tracking it as of now and no more than 2000 calories with a goal weight of 215lbs by April 29th. Roughly 25 lbs.

A Palermo's Frozen Pizza has roughly 1150 calories per pizza. So 5000 calories would be like eating 4.4 Frozen Pizzas or 4 1/2 Frozen Pizzas.

Shit if you eat an additional 5000 calories then you could give that whale from Jersey a run for her money.

Not true. There is no formula as to what each person should eat each day. It is up to your own individual body.

If this site is correct, I can see why I don't lose weight.

I workout 5 days a week, but I also have a physical job.

If I can get it to average 1800-2200 calories a day, I should be golden.

you dont even realize till you start noting these things down. Im healthy but I would always complain about wanting to get more ripped and thought I ate well so I just wasnt working out properly but getting in shape is 80% nutrition and 20% exercising. So I really started focusing on my intake and writing it down and I was seriously undervaluing how many cals I was taking in and how many certain dishes had things like that. I'm not where I wanna be yet but im making progress.

There was a period when I would grab a McGriddle on the way to work every day. I put on a lot of weight. I'm amazed at the amount of calories.

Speaking of lots of calories. A large shake from Baskin Robbins has about 1690 calories.

I quit booze for 9 months and lost 40 lbs.

Started back, liked feeling smart better than being skinny.

Drop it to 2000 calories a day big and drop sugar and booze. If you eat the right food 2000 calories is a ton of food. I maintain 180 lbs. eating 2000 a day and have not been to the gym in about three weeks.

Only cut out booze if everything else in your diet is out of whack. I probably eat 1500 calories a day, some nights I easily drink 1200-1500 empty calories but I'm at the gym a lot...haven't really gained weight simply because of booze.
