Possible Baseball System

I have never bet baseball in the past so just throwing this idea out there to get some feedback.

Would it be profitable to play 2 team parlays tailing a really good team (Yankees, Red Sox, Cardinals) and fading a really bad team (Pirates, Nationals)?

If the parlay paid in the 1.2 to 1.7 range would the good teams win and the bad teams lose on enough of the same nights to make this profitable?

Hopefully this isn't too confusing.

I see what you're saying, and I don't think its a horrible idea, but I do think there are better ways to go about wagering on baseball.

The terrible teams are going to win right around 62 to 65 games in a year and the great teams are going to lose right around 61 to 70 games.

In my opinion to hit these just based on betting for 3 teams and against 2 teams in a random way is something I wouldn't endorse. Plus the juice on the public-friendly Yankees/Red Sox is inflated and so is the juice on the known "terrible" teams.

Do what you want with your money and if this is how you go about it, keep us updated.

Good Luck with your decision.
