in hopes that you say fvck it, and continue to play and lose it all. PERIOD

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Pinnacle has required CC scans within a few days of deposit,
in which case it has nothing to do with a withdrawal
request and, consequently, a theory that books only ask
for such in hopes one keeps playing & loses their balance.

Mostly agree with that statement..a few other reasons:

- effort to prevent bonus whore'ing, multiple accounts with fraudulant intentions/chargebacks.
- claims of theft "what payout, I never requested any payout"
- unscrupoulous (sp?) processors, ID theft rings

why deposit via cc? I only do cash/gold-pay these days.

Pre-paid cards work great

Caribsports asks for an ID and front and back of CC and a signed CC agreement before they'll even let you bet.

Not true...

If you give them your DL# and last four digits of SS your good to go..

However i quit playing there because their linesmaker is retarded(the lines are way off and not in a good way), the website layout sucks, their customer service reps never seem to be happy, and last time i checked they quit doing moneygrams..

I can see it in a few highly regulated places, I don't think Costa Rica is one of them.

Why wouldn't they ask each time then? Why just the first withdrawl?

Then the book would have no excuse at all and just look silly. Atleast for the 1st withdrawl they can make up an excuse for why they need it on file.
