My 14 year old daughter convinced me to buy tickets to WILCO about 3 months ago .

I had never heard of them. She loves them...

We went last night . Was held at a small venue in Clearwater. All the way across the state. 2200 people.

They played for almost 3 hours straight.

I enjoyed every second of it.. Except for the round trip travel.

MTV worships them cus they did an album in the 90's of Woody Guthrie lyrics that are over the top anti-capitalist....
Only sold like a 1/4 million copies and won an Emmy or some shit.....Their next album could be fingernails on a chalkboard and MTV would play it nonstop.......

you have never seen WILCO on MTV. They don't even have music on there anymore.

And I'm glad you enjoyed them WNO...they are one of the few bands making great music out there today. Tight as it gets...the live shows are phenom.

Oh hell yes....you have to keep an open mind.
I have 2 boys (13 and 11) and if it wasn't for them, I would've never heard of 'Lonely Island', Travis Barker, and 'Whitest Kids U know", which is a comedy group...just to name a few. Lots of rappers as well, and I used to hate rap, but some of them are really talented, I think.
