All Prices at 5 Dimes:

10005 - Baltimore over 74.5 +105

Scary play here, but the Orioles are putting some nice pieces in place here like Brian Matusz and Matt Wieters. I believe this just beats the number with a chance for 78-80 wins.

10010 - Cubs under 82.5 -110

Even in a soft division, the Cubs need a lineup of over 30 YO's with most everybody to come through for this to hit. Problem is they get hurt or they wear down as the season moves along. Bullpen is a huge question mark also, very bad in today's game. This is Pinella's last season in Chicago - how interested will he be if they start off slow? Last year he wasn't too interested when things were bad.

10011 - Chicago White Sox over 82.5 -135

Loved this play before Nathan got hurt for Minnesota. Sox have the best addition with Peavy for a full year. Lineup isn't as formidable as years past, but the starting pitching will keep them in every game. Matt Thorton is one of the best setup pitchers too. If Jenks can stay in shape and Rios can contribute close to his peak (big question), the Sox can win 90 in a soft division.

10024 - Houston under 74.5 -125

Like the Cubs, most of their good players are on the wrong side of 30. Oswalt looked mortal at times last season. If that happens again, that is not good for Houston's season.

10037 - Yankees over 94.5 -145

Too many reasons this doesn't hit. Nice thing with the Yankees is there isn't one player that could go down and you feel the season is lost. Also, they will spend anything to upgrade during the season. Should be another 98-102 win season.

10041 - Phillies over 92 -120

Phillies have the look of a team that could win the NL East by 10-15 games. Best lineup in the NL and the starting pitching is better with Halliday. Only concern is the closer situation, which has brought many a team down in the past. Would be stunned if they dont reach 92.

10046 - Padres under 71.5 -120

Team in rebuilding mode. If they trade Gonzalez, they really have nothing. Looking at 62-66 wins here.

10051 - Cardinals over 88.5 -135

A team on par with the Phillies with fewer wins to reach. Have the lineup, the starting pitching, and the bullpen. Only injuries hold them to under 94 wins.

10049 - Seattle

I will wait until everyone drives up the number and take the under, currently 83.5. Any team counting on Milton Bradley will be in for a rude awakening.

I assume A Gonzalez will be traded. They did play well the 2nd half of the season.
