Wilson is already under contract for $4,437,500 this season, so the new deal will begin next season. He'll earn $6.5 million in 2011 and $8.5 million in 2012. It's quite a commitment, but it's hard to argue that he doesn't deserve it. The hard-throwing right-hander compiled a 2.74 ERA, 1.20 WHIP, 38 saves and an 83/27 K/BB ratio last season.
