I know basketball is a popular one but what about baseball? You really think these guys will care about every game with all the games they play in one season?

I'd have to say overall baseball

Most overpaid athletes there are & you can also take into account that some of these guys could be playing football or basketball but most aren't stupid they took the easy way out...

How can they be laziest yet also be the most unified, motivated, strongest and successful negotiators? Most people in the workforce find that a very hard and demanding process

Maybe UFC fighters. They may train with the more extreme intensity than athletes from any other sport. But are too lazy outside of that one part of their life to earn more money, despite helping to bring in such huge revenue

AFTER WATCHING THIS YEARS OLYMPICS I WOULD HAVE TO SAY THE 4 MAN BOBSLED WHAT THE F-CK YOU RUN FOR 10 YARDS THEN YOU SIT ON YOUR ARSE AND DUCK DOWN @) I AM THINKING OF GETTING A 4 MAN BOBSLED ORGANIZED FOR THE 2014 OLYMPICS.

BEANTOWNJIM THE DRIVER
WILHEIM THE BIG GUY PUSHING THE SLED
DOUG THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE TALKING ABOUT SPORTSBOOKS
AND THE SHRINK IN THE BACK SEAT S IF WE DONT HAVE A GOOD TIME I CAN TAKE A SHARP TURN AND LOOSE THE BASTARD AND FINISH WITH A 3 MAN SLED.

NO DOUBT ABOUT IT THE LAZIEST ATHLETES ARE THE 4 MAN BOBSLEDDERS :ohno:

Definitely the NBA. Teams out of playoff contention around January still earn millions but literally tank the season.

Baseball is one of the toughest sports boys because its played in the summer.imagine playing in texas and its 93 degrees with humidity 90% at 9 p.m. Thats not easy ^<<^ baseball is everyday for 162 days thats tough on the body plus spring training you are in the sun that wears on your body.

If your a starting ptcher you have it made you play once every 6 days thats the best job in sports plus you get to lay golf on your off days from pitching :103631605

This is really a tough question because of all the circumstances!

Some are taking the quesion the wrong way I believe & thinking that the lazies sports-players are simply those who play a sport which doesn't require much of an effort or movement, such as bowling or darts as some mentioned above.

Are we talking DROP OFF in production or effort which would be different for each sport?

For example, some of you say the laziest players are in the NBA, but when you think about it, it's almost impossile to ever be lazy when they're out there on that court because regarldless of the score, etc. they are still having to put out much more effort at all times than almost every other sport. They are constantly on the move, even if sometimes it is a little slower than other times.

So can they still be considered the laziest when you compare their "lazieness" period which is still a lot of work vs other sports?

How about MLB players who sit in the dugout and watch while their teammates bat half of the game, and go up to bat 3-4 times a game, and stand in the field waiting on the ball to get hit to them every once in a while.......

1. Dart guys don't make enough money to qualify.
2. Bowlers are not athletes. They throw a ball and drink beer.
3. Bobsledders are athletes and they train like hell but they don't qualify because they don't make shit.
4. Golfers want to win. They don't quit trying just for a salary. I love JD. Want to play a round with him someday.

So, my vote goes to everyone on the MN Timberwolves roster.
They are young, rich and they cannot wait for the season to end.

Correct answer: Pro BB players on crappy teams.

Very well said nelly. How guys can watch the NBA shit is beyond me.

If people really knew what goes on with these NBA thugs there would be nobody watching.
