This has simply been the craziest tourney I remember...

we always have an upset or 2, or some team you really thought would go to final four get whacked early, but this year, there have been a TON of upsets, and not to mention, the extraordinary number of last second shots to win games, the dominating style of some of these unknown teams, and the pure excitement of almost every game....

Parity is more apparent than ever this year, as for most of the whole season the experts were talking about the BIG 3 that had seperated themselves from most of the other teams, and 2 of them are gone before the Elite 8, only UK remains...

Has sure made for some fun, but i can't recall a year that my brackets looked so crappy.......I'm not sure i could pick it right if we were allowed to go back and write it over right now....still wouldnt believe some of what I have seen..

and yet another upset as Butler beats Kansas State, and has a def advantage now, as the final four is being held in their backyard.......and they are assued of playing a lower seed in the semifinal game.....what an amazing story for our home state Bulldogs...

could it be.....baylor and butler 2 of the final 4 teams.....

funny thing is, i picked Baylor for the final 4....but thats about the ONLY thing i predicted right, and they havent made it yet....but i never saw Butler doing all this, certainly felt Kansas was close to unbeatable at least until Final 4, and thought Syracuse would roll as well......

these conf have been funny too....

Big East - all year, all u heard about was Syracuse and Villanova as being the best, and early on Pitt and G'Town got alot of props and their rankings got high....but W. Va stayed consistant, and now the last team left from their conf..

Big 10 - Ohio State and Purdue got the high rankings and the higher seeds, yet Mich State is last team standing...

Big 12 - the craziest of all as K State and Kansas got all the press and were in top 5 all year long basically...Texas was at #1 at one point, and was a strong contender, yet Baylor is the last team standing.....

what a year..

interesting fluke in the tourneys as well, they just reported, and i hadnt thought of...

Baylor vs Duke for the men yesterday in Elite 8 to go to final four

tonight in the women's tourney, Duke vs. Baylor in Elite 8 for trip to final four..

first time this has ever happened they said...same 2 schools meeting on both sides for final 4 berths.....
