has there ever been a final 4 with no #1 seeds?!

guess it could happen this year,,,,,,, and how ironic that last year all 4 #1 seeds made it last year for the first time ever.

I can't recall there ever being a final 4 with all the # 1 seeds. I would guess no. However I'm pretty sure there has been final 4's with no
# 1 seeds left. Someone will have to look it up.

I think in 2008 there were 4 number 1s kansas memphis UNC and UCLA

Bingo, you are correct ! However since Memphis was forced to vacate all their games because of a recruiting violation ** Derrick Rose } , I'm not sure that We can even count 2008 as official. If We do count 2008, that was indeed the first time ever !

according to Wikipedia these are the years without 1 seeds
* 1980 -- Louisville - number2, Iowa - number5, Purdue - number6, UCLA - number8
* 2006 -- UCLA - number2, Florida - number3, LSU - number4, George Mason - number11

Technically there has never been a year with all four #1's, but if 4 1 seeds made it next year i dont think they would refer to it as the first time it's happened.
