He completed another 13-of-13 from a stationary stance.
"That's the best I've seen since Troy Aikman," observed NFL.com's Gil Brandt. Bradford's lone misfire came on a drop by Sooners backup wideout Adron Tennell, and the projected No. 1 overall pick showed an impressive, strong build. Pro Days are intended to make players look good, but Bradford was as sharp as can be, exhibiting a quick release, plenty of velocity, and outstanding accuracy. We noticed just one throw behind his intended target (Jermaine Gresham still caught it), and he delivered one wobbler on a 40-yard slant-go.

ESPN's Todd McShay is convinced Bradford has more arm strength now than he did before his shoulder was reconstructed last October.

SAM'S THE MAN

By RON CLEMENTS

ST. LOUIS - It's easy for Sam Bradford's teammates and coaches to see the improvements he's made throughout his rookie season.
But even a guy who intercepted the St. Louis Rams quarterback twice in the rookie's NFL debut has noticed a difference.
"That guy's a player. He's improved dramatically from the first game to where he is now," Arizona Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson said during a Wednesday teleconference. "He's not waiting for the routes to develop. He knows where he's going with the football right away.
"The first game, it was his first start, and he had a lot of stuff coming at him. We've seen on tape, teams are blitzing him, but he's able to complete passes downfield even with the blitz in his face."
While it will be the same person wearing No. 8 for the Rams on Sunday when they visit the Cardinals, it won't be the same quarterback.
"His reads are quicker and he's able to get that ball out on time. Whenever you can do that, your offense is able to move more efficiently," said Wilson, who had two of the three interceptions Bradford threw in Arizona's season-opening 17-13 victory.
Since then, the Cardinals have been in turmoil. Following its 3-2 start, Arizona has lost six straight, including Monday night's 27-6 thumping at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers. Meanwhile the 5-6 Rams continue to improve and are coming off their first road victory of the season, a 36-33 win at Denver.
"As you get into December here, there's not a lot of margin for error," Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo said following Wednesday's practice. "So we want to make sure we eliminate the mistakes."
But they're still looking for that "killer instinct" to put teams away in the fourth quarter.
"I think it's something that we've still got to find," Bradford said. "That game last week, even though we won, we were up 33-13 and let them creep back into the game."
The Rams are tied with Seattle atop the NFC West. While a significantly improved defense is one reason, another has been the play of Bradford. The 2008 Heisman Trophy winner has thrown just one interception in his last six games after tossing at least one in each of his first five NFL contests.
"That's how you can tell he understands the offense real well," said wide receiver Laurent Robinson, who caught Bradford's first-ever touchdown pass in the Week 1 loss. "The first game he was a little nervous, but he's coming into his own now and showing everybody what he can do."
Bradford is on pace for nearly 3,600 passing yards and 25 touchdowns, both of which would be among the all-time best for rookies. He already set an NFL rookie record this season with 169 consecutive pass attempts without an interception. He's on track for 601 pass attempts and 364 completions, which would shatter Peyton Manning's 1998 records of 575 and 326. Manning holds the rookie records for passing yards (3,739) and touchdowns (26).
"I try to stay away from all that," Bradford said about his statistics. "The bottom line is I'm here to help this football team win. If we're not winning, then I'm not doing my job. I think everyone around me-my family, my friends-they've known me for a long time and they know that's the way I feel. At the end of the day, that's what we talk about. We really don't get into anything other than wins and losses."
Bradford threw for a career-high 308 yards and three touchdowns against the Broncos.
"It's nice. What makes it nicer is the fact that we won," Bradford said. "If we would have lost that game then everything I did would have been for nothing. It wouldn't have been enough. So bottom line, as long as we're winning, I'm happy."
Bradford said his improvement from Week 1 is "night and day." As he progresses, so too should the Rams. Even when the Broncos limited Pro Bowl running back Steven Jackson to 72 yards on 29 carries, Bradford was able to make plays for the offense to put points on the board.
"He definitely has had an impact on their football team and their offense," Arizona coach Ken Whisenhunt said of Bradford. "He's a good young player, and he's a very accurate passer, does a good job in the pocket, gets rid of the ball quickly. He's a good quarterback, and it does make it difficult to prepare for them."
