I'm looking to get a new glove and maybe a bat for this season, I was just wondering if anyone can recommend a well made glove. Price doesn't really matter and I play 2nd. As far as the bat, I was thinking about the new miken.

Wilson A2000 is the best glove made.

Played baseball for over 30 years and that is the only glove I used.

Ok thanks, I will look that glove up. I just don't want a big glove for the infield. What are your thoughts on nokona?

The A2000 comes in an infield size.

nokona is a good glove. American made. The leather is very good. Used to have a sporting goods store and I sold them. Good glove.

Do you think an 11.75 inch is the right size for a infielder? I know it comes down to prefrence but if I'm spending 300 I need it to last me a while.

11.75 should be ok. If I were you I would go to a sporting goods store and try them on. The A2000 comes in both the 11.75 and the 11.50. I know a place where you can get them for $199 and free shipping.

I play softball 6 days a week, I LOVE IT.

I bought a rawlings Trapeze this year and I love it!

I have the following bats;

Freak DST
Easton Synergy SCN8 (One of the best bats ever made if you factor in durability)
Demarini The One '09
Demarini Juggernaut

I would say as far as being hot the Juggernaut and Freak are the best when they reach thier peak, but they don't last for long which is why I have so many bats.

The One lasted me an entire season last year so it is extremely durable. The Juggernaut is my 3rd one, the Freak I already had to send in for warranty.

Let me know if I can help you at all.

I am a huge Demarini fan, but I also love the Synergy SCN8.

But if there are no restrictions, the Juggernaut is the choice.

Also a fan of the Demarini White Steel, not as hot, but a great bat for the price.

I play SS, and 3rd, and prefer a larger glove.

I keep looking for local softball leagues where I'm currently attending college and someone PLEASE tell me it's as much fun as I know it will be. Hence, looking so hard for it.

Just find any bar around campus and chances are they will have a ball team. Yes it is a lot of fun. Good luck.

Does dicks carry a lot of different gloves? I'm thinking of going by and trying some on. Intrested in wilson a2000, a2k and the nokona bloodline. These bats are getting crazy, you don't even have to be a good hitter anymore if you use them.

Morgantown? If so, I'm sure you checked out the BOPARC league. If that is a little slow for your liking there is a modified league just north of there outside of Smithfield, Pa. Maybe 20 minutes to 1/2 hr out of Motown.

You're a fucking cheating loser. You have to shave a bat to hit the ball out of the park?

Honestly anyone who plays this game and thinks it's alright to shave a bat is a joke.
