Can anything duplicate the effects of Percocet?

I had to take them awhile ago for a major injury. I'm currently taking them again because the injury has returned.

I've never had the workouts at the gym I have when I've taken one tablet. When my injury is fixed here in a bit I want to duplicate the effect this does to my body without percocet.

And for all of you shady guys out there...no I don't want anything illegal to put in my body. Five-hour energy does not do it.

Any thoughts?

Go check out a GNC or local supplement store and see what they have. Its going to be hard to duplicate the effect of an acetaminophen sticking to the legal stuff. GL

Isn't using pecocet to get high, like you plan to do, just as bad as buying something illegal?

Yeah, no illegal stuff for me but I need something that gives me that lift that is somewhere close.

I don't use it to get high. I use it for an injury and it doesn't make me high as in using drugs. I guess I don't know because I've never used drugs.

Finding a supplement to help you with fatigue is not even in the same ballpark as buying an illegal drug. Are you being serious?

Which "effect" are you seeking to replicate?

Percocet is a combination of Oxycodone (Sched 2 controlled) and acetaminophen - the latter being a common over the counter drug analgesic sold under various names - notably Tylenol.

Thus you should have no trouble scoring the latter drug. However it should not be used to excess as that can stimulate liver damage.

Here's a handy site for comparing the makeup of various drugs (both controlled and OTC)

We cross posted as I was typing that last one and now if I read you correctly, you're seeking to counter "fatigue"?

I'm reasonably confident that nothing in percocet would counter fatigue, save for perhaps the combination might help reduce undue muscle swelling and thus mimic the feeling that you can work out longer.

Will check back on this Thread tomorrow...hitting bed now

Well Barman, a doctor told me it has different effects depending on the person but for me it makes me really alert and motivated with tons of energy. Thanks for the site.

You're saying you want to keep taking it after your injury is healed right? Some would argue that is abuse. Maybe "high" wasn't the correct term.

Anyway it doesn't matter.

The only thing that will give you energy over the counter is ephedrine. Go to the drugstore and ask for Primatene or Bronkaid tablets.

Take 25 mg with 200mg of caffeine. I know I can put up a hell of a workout when using that combo.

Where did I say I want to keep taking it after my injury is healed? I didn't say that. You could actually read the posts before responding.

most people don't have energy when taking this drug since it is an opiate. gives quite the opposite effect for most people which is why it is abused. not quite sure what you're looking for here. drink some skybook coffee or something.

Coffee doesn't do it Viking and no, it doesn't make me tired. I took it the first time I was injured and after surgery I didn't need it any longer and have not taken it for 7 months. Just recently I reinjured the same spot and I had another MRI today.

NO Explode, is one of the best energy producers for working out i've ever taken. Just take time off from it or u will develop an immunity to it.

I'm with you though, if i could find something that made me feel like percoset but was good for me, I'd be loving it.

Let me know if you find it.

Yeah, that's what the doc told me but it does the opposite for me. I'm full of energy for a few hours. Not hyper but just energy.
