Last season Lidge had one of the worst seasons in the history of 'regular' closers.
He was 0-8 7.21 31 saves and 11 blown saves.
I would bet Lidge will not blow 11.5 games this season.
For openers, he's more than likely not even going to be ready for opening day, as he is hurt, secondly if Madsen or Baez impresses I can easily see Manuel giving those two the save oppurtunities as long as the continue to get the job done in Lidge's abscence.
