All the touts are calling him the next big thing, but let's not lose sight of the fact that he just turned 20 years old, and has played a whopping 50 games above SINGLE A ball.

The difference between A pitching and AAA pitchings is overwhelming, and the difference between AAA pitching and pitching in the show is almost as overwhelming.

Not saying the kid won't be the next big thing, but before we hand JayHey rookie of the year honors, with 30 homers, 100 RBI's etc. etc. etc. let's see him play against the big boys first.

Well I watched the Heyward/Verlander match-up the other day and I was very impressed. Took Verlander to 9 pitches...made him show EVERYTHING. Even got decent wood on a 97 MPH. Kid's get a tremendous eye.

.285 BA, 80 R, 20 HR, 80 RBI, 15 SB is reasonable I think

Guys, lets not give away NL ROY just yet. He has a whopping 52 spring AB's. Has a lot of talent and the first month may tear it up, but once there's a book on him it will be difficult for him to get his pitches.
