I was gonna get the Inspiron, but not sure if the studio is worth getting for the HD.

I use laptop for web, music, and office. Also watch lots of games (espn 360, nba league pass, mlb xtra innings, etc). I don't do any gaming.

It looks like either could do what you want without breaking much of a sweat - although the i3 system (and the 1080p screen) would certainly be more future-proof.

I know there was a Reason why I got my Wife the Studio PC over Inspiron from Dell. But I forgot what it was ??

Go to CNet and take a look at the review.
I think I found something there that i didn't like about the Inspiron.

Read the customer reviews on Dell's website. They are pretty telling. Always helps.

The i3 is bad ass. Go for the machine that has that. Don't let the Ghz rating fool you the thing has ZIP
