A Warren County jury on Thursday found the 26-year-old former University of Nevada star guilty of aggravated burglary, felonious assault and assault. Prosecutors say Snyder broke into a couple's home in Deerfield Township last year and assaulted a man in his bedroom.
Snyder could receive up to 18 years in prison at his sentencing next month.
He has been treated for mental illness and had pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.
Snyder was the 16th player taken in the 2004 NBA draft. He played for the Utah Jazz, New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets, Houston Rockets and Minnesota Timberwolves between 2004 and 2008. He then played a season in China.
