Only problem is it's going to take a while for the 4G to be available everywhere they told me.

I dont know AR if that HTC Pro is still 299.00 and just came down from 399.00 not long ago, this other one will probably start at 399.00 minimum.....
no one is going to be taking iphone customers at a high rate - for all sorts of reasons. iphone isn't the most technologically impressive phone, and at&t isnt the cheapest or best provider... BUT, the iphone is a symble of status, great engineering, and incredible marketing. sprint already struck out a few times with the Palm phones - they are very cool phones - but i rarely see them, especially compared to blackberrys and iphones.
this looks like a cool phone, but it is in no way a game changer.
Do you know if the Samsung Moment can do that as well?

I pay $45 dollars a month for everything with Sprint...if you know Sprint, you know how to work them. Im already locked into 2 years with Sprint but will be due for an upgrade once this phone comes out. This phone will be 399 tops with an upgrade, probably 299...Its Sprints game changer and YES it WILL take ALOT of iphone customers
I am considered a Sprint premiere customer, you get an upgrade discount every year. If you pay over $70 dollars a month you are aSprint premiere customer. I still get the premier discount even though my monthly bill is considerably less than the $70 due to job discounts and monthly sprint credits that I have had.
u do realize that besides the phones internet in order to stream to other sources you must pay an additional 49.99 per month and the limit is 5 gb..so pretty much no downloading and/or streaming of any kind or u will go miles above that and its a huge penalty for each mb after the 5 gb.
one note for the above statement - (this is sprints current policy . but maybe with this phone it might change? my guess is why would it? thousands of people pay the premium for the 3g service at that price, why lower or erase it for 4G)

It will be changing. Verizon today just changed thier mifi mobile hotspot for the Palm Pre Plus from $50 per month to FREE today. Sprint will be following suit. Plus there are ways around it if you know how to hack your phone. I have been tethering from Sprint for years. Sprint is also not going to be charging more for 4g on thier plans as Hesse has already stated. They want market share and they are goint to get it and take alot of competitors customers with this phone.
