How important is this WVU point guard (not playing) to the WVU team?

from what i seen not very much.

I still think Duke is a far superior team but I don't know why they are making such a big fuss over this.

My 2 cents.

No question about it Darryl “Truck” Bryant will be missed. Joe Mazzulla, his replacement was selected the Most Valuable Player as the Mountaineers won the East Regional, upsetting Kentucky in the final with Mazzulla scoring 17 points and playing spectacular defense.

Two years ago in the sweet 16 against Duke, Mazzulla had 13 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists. He played even better against a powerhouse Kentucky team last weekend. Basically dominating the game on both ends of the court.

The problem is he can look a bit like a bull in a china shop on occasion which against a smooth disciplined team like Duke could be big trouble. The other major factor is foul trouble, he has to stay in the game or WV is toast.
