I have not really bet baseball much, but in the little I have it seems that betting a decent size favorite at -1.5 runs is the way to go. Last night at the Red Sox -1.5 for +165. Ok, lucky maybe to win that but even like today with Carpenter vs Reds, SL is +115 at -1.5 vs -150 on the ML. I would appreciate any imput form the guys that do this alot for their thoughts. Seems like a lot of value for an extra run.

Back in the day I worked for an old-time local who passed on to me a lot of tidbits of information over the years.. ONE of his RULES regarding RL's in baseball was NEVER/EVER bet a home team on the run-line!!!! The BOOKS are taking an AB away from Y-O-U!! Their side gets 9 FULL AB's to put up runs while YOUR side only gets 8 AB's to score.. IF you get your 9th AB you need at-least a TWO-RUN Walk-OFF HR to win... ODDS are not in your favor therefore despite lower juice you have no advantage on that wager.. Just info I'm passing on to you.. Good Luck!!
