Here is my card for Tuesday All lines from 5 Dimes unless otherwise noted.
$402 to win $300 LAA (-134) Angels are one of the most effective teams when favored as they are now 12-1 in their last 13 as a favorite. Saunders finished the 09 season on a nice roll and has established himself as one of the league's most consistent performers allowing 3 ER or less in each of his last 12 starts last season. The road hasn't been kind to Blacburn and the Twins as they are 8-22 in his last 30 road starts.
$300 to win $402 COL (+134) Colorado just owns the Brewers, having won 14 of the last 17 matchups.
$300 to win $354 SEA (+118) Again, + $$$ on a team that has won 18 of the last 23 meetings? Snell 2-0 vs the A's and pitched well in both starts.
$200 to win $242 SF (+121) SF loves playing in HOU and has gone 25-11 in last 36 visits.
$200 to win $$262 NYY (+131) I know the Yanks and Burnett are both typically slow starters, but +131? Really? I will bite.
$386 to win $200 TAMPA BAY (-193) Tampa 16-5 L21 @ home vs the O's and Shields OWNS the O's with a 9-1 mark in L10 starts while allowing 3 ER or less in 9 straight starts against them and going 6+ innings in all but 1 of those. Millwood has allowed 14 ER in 19 career innings in Tampa. I don't play runlines at home but if I were to this would be the spot.
