Just one day after saying he had "no idea" when he would return. "I had it in my mind I would like to be back in that series, anyway," said Berkman. "I'm not guaranteeing it. I'm going to have to talk with [head athletic trainer] Nate [Lucero] and see what he thinks is best, but I'm starting to feel better and that is a possibility." Berkman has made great progress since having his knee drained for a fifth time and receiving a cortisone shot on Monday. He took some batting practice in the cage on Wednesday and has progressed to doing more agility exercises. The punchless Astros would obviously welcome his bat back to the lineup.
