Dodgers: Chad Billingsley once was viewed as a potential ace of the staff. Eight months ago he was an All-Star. Now the Dodgers want to take the pressure off and get him back on track after he struggled down the stretch and was dropped from the rotation in the postseason. So far, so good in Spring Training, as he looks like he might have ironed out the mechanical flaw he believes set in motion his late-season fade. Scouts say Billingsley tends to overuse his cutter and it's taken a foot off his fastball. The Dodgers believe he's throwing as well as he did over the first half last season.
