Does anyone believe for a second that if Phil Mickelson did the things Tiger did that Billy Payne would have ripped him like that?

If you don't, think harder. Imagine Phil being on the other end of that rant.

It is so funny when these people are blatantly racist.

as i was watching it , i sat with my mouth open wondering just who he thought he was...

it wasnt racist.. as beautiful as the place is , it is largely made up of blowhards who enjoy hearing themselves speak..

whats almost as bad is the way cbs's announcers suck up to everyone around there... esp . jim nantz..

The old fools @ the Masters are pretentious beyond belief. And have got all the reporters & other media people so scared they're afraid to speak out & tell it like it is. F the Masters, bunch of redneck assholes. But this was not racist IMO. In fact I was glad someone finally stood up to the little punk, even if it was this jerk.

Payne's rant wasn't racist but it was self serving, condescending, and was staged for effect as much as Tiger' voices from his daddies heavenly Nike cloud. Georgia Masters Country Club hog jowls might be slow of talk, but don't undersell these wealthy snakes. Payne inserted himself and his tournament into Wood's media ratings cloud and that's all this little pud wanted to accomplish.
