Off to a little bit of a rocky start, but hoping to change that soon.

Yesterday: 1-1 (-0.5 units)
YTD: 3-4 (-1 unit)

For tonight I have a couple that I'm not necessarily in love with, but they are both worth a shot:

1* Chicago Cubs (+160)
I know, I know, Tommy Hanson is Atlanta's pitcher and he is an ace-in-training. Randy Wells, though, is a pitcher on the rise (hopefully he hasn't plateued) and I find this line has a lot of value.

The Cubs have had a tough start to the season and I just don't see them losing their first three. Both teams have solid hitters, I just don't see how you give Wells a +160 line this early in the season.


1* Florida Marlins (-105)
I'm taking this based on the line. At the book I use, the line is NYM -115 and Fla -105. The over/under on team runs is O/U 4.5 each with the exact same juice (-110 and -120 respectively). This is more of a gamble than anything, but that's what we're here for, right?

While I'm thinking of it, I will be on SF tomorrow pretty large with Atlanta playing the night game tonight then flying to SF for an early game. My book doesn't offer overnight lines, but I will be on it first thing tomorrow morning.

Any thoughts?
