Wells led off the top of the ninth with a game-tying homer off Frank Francisco. Lyle Overbay followed with a triple and scored the go-ahead run on Edwin Encarnacion's sac fly. The Jays later added an insurance run as Mike McCoy, who was filling in for Aaron Hill, singled in Alex Gonzalez. Wells, though, was the story again. He had just one homer and two doubles in 50 at-bats this spring, but he finished the series against the Rangers with four homers, seven RBI and six runs scored.
