Porcello on the hill. Tribe look like they are going to extra innings right now and its getting late who knows what time this game will end..than they have to travel to Detroit and play a 1pm day game. :103631605

ONly a 45 mins- hour flight to detroit not a huge factor id say there

Porcello 3-0 with a 1.80 era vs the Indians and 8-3 with a 3.87 era at home. Huff with a 6.18 era on the road and Tigers kill lefties.

Add in Tigers home opener, Indians bullpen worn out, and day game on the Tigers big. Got them -135 before line movement, but would play them anything under -150.

Tribe game just ended. got to figure they'll travel to Detroit tonight, probably won't get to sleep till 3 or 4 am.

bigger deal here is though Cleveland used alot of their pen. hopefully Tigers can make tribe starter work and get into that pen.

It only went 2 extra innings.. Why is everyone acting like they just got in a 24 inning battle? Shouldn't be that big of a problem. If they Tigers are the play, it's for other reasons..

Extra innings doesn't hurt. Reason play is Porcello numbers vs Indians.

Day game figure Indians might rest a starter or two.

I just got in at -145 on the Tigers. I think that the moneyline will soar tomorrow.

Tigers on their Home Opener (sellout) with Porcello pitching, Cleveland just getting done player about 10 minutes ago after midnight, losing an hour coming in from Chicago, likely resting players, will be exhausted, and pitching a ham and egger LH pitcher like Huff................I'd say the edge definitely goes to Detroit.

this number is crazy. huff only +128 at detroit vs porcello. If this number doesnt climb up to +140 by game time i will be all over the tribe.

Don't enjoy betting into games where Pinnacle has the best number on the board for my side.

I will likely be on the Indians ML and RL tomorrow.

you have to be careful when taking that angle in baseball. pinny has less then 10 cent lines sometimes where other books have 20 cent lines, thats a huge difference. thats why often times pinny, 5dimes, and matchbook have the best numbers in baseball (pinny and matchbook obviously the best)

Are you trying to suggest that consistently beating Matchbook or Pinnacle's closing number at .20 cent shops (particularly SIA, Bodog, and BetOnline) is unsuccessful in the long run?

These professional athletes travel in well appointed (cushy)
charter aircraft and.......they don't have to "service" any women enroute like the "home team" does regularily on the ground.

Don't place too much stock into a team having to board an airplane and then fly to their next game.
(West Coast to the East Coast or vice-versa could have some effect because of the three time zones but not from Detroit to Cleveland.

The flight is short and they don't fly Southwest. They did use 6 relievers and on the quick turaround may ask the starter to go longer than usual if he's having a tough day. This would be a bigger reason to play Detroit than the travel.
