And u will find iTs useless on Saturdays prior to 7pm...
Moron FOX owns rights to everything prior to night games- even those weird 6pm games... Even if u get mlbtv to supplement- those are blacked out also. All u get for Saturday is the fox game u woulda got anyway- plus your local game- I think wgn- 307 on direct tv- is showing a cubs or wsox game also today...
I've had package for 8 years- it's the best- just Saturdays suck

Comcast in my area is just a fucking ripoff. Over charge for their shitty service with limited hd channels (dont even have spike hd right now still? Unfuckingbelievable i was watching that on directv 2 years ago). So use to directv but i had to move into an apartment about a year ago and cannot get directv or id have no issue getting extra innings cause id get hd along with it. Instead they wanna charge same pricing with no hd....bullshit....i dont believe in paying full price for half ass service. Ill be moving within the next year cross the country to then when i get settled ill get all my directv service back and be a happy man again.:toast:
I've had it for the last four years and refuse to take it again. MLB in their infinite wisdom has deemed any game involving the Dodgers, Angels, Padres, Diamondbacks, A's, and Giants blacked out in Las Vegas. So explain to me how a game between Oakland at Cleveland or San Francisco at Florida should be a conflict to somebody sitting in Las Vegas. Why should I pay full price on something when on any given night 1/6th of the card is unavailable to me. I've written to MLB and complained of this numerous times with zero response.
The NHL package has the right idea. They only block out any game involving the greater L.A. teams, (Kings and Ducks). If those games are not being televised by the local FOX channels, (which we get in Vegas), the NHL lifts the black out and allow them to be carried on the center ice package.
My second complaint regards the quality of the picture. It's the exact opposite of HD. Many of the games are either on the dark side or just ridiculously out of focus/fuzzy

I've had it for about 5 or 6 years now. Last year I canceled it and a week after I didn't have it I called and had it re-activated. Not sure what happend on DTV's end, but I only got the HD games and not the SD games. I called 3 times but they never could figure it out. The crazy thing is they NEVER charged me! So I basically had it for free! It did not auto renew, but I am waiting until after the free preview to see if I get it for free again or not. It is the best value of all the major sports packages. You get a ton of games for $200. I wish they did a first half of season package for $100. It seems like after the All-Star break I don't watch it nearly as often and then its August and its time for football.
