When you have a bullpen like the brewers the starter if very important.
Thats the point. If the bullpen sucks, the starter is at the mercy of the bullpen. How many starters go more than 6 innings?? Not many. If the bullpen has been overworked that plays a part too.
Its one additional reason that starters are OVERvalued.
