St. Louis has struggled in the third game of a series dating back to last season, going 1-8, including Thursday's walk-off loss at Cincinnati. On the flip side, the Brewers are a solid 7-1 in the third game of a series the last eight opportunities.

Now I know,Carpenter,has dominated in the past vs the Brewers,but this is still something to think about.
