AMEN

Sick of Tiger, continues to show the world he is above all by using a prohibited cell phone on the course (was story of that day.....unreal) then an AMAZING round of golf get over shadowed by this goof. More recognition for a 4th place finish than the WINNER.

Congrats to Phil Mickelson

"Tiger, did you do as well as you thought you would with coming off the extended break?"

Tiger-" I entered to win."

He's an ass, he will be back to whoring around before to long

he probably went straight to see one of his whores after leaving the masters.
he'll just be more discreet now.

I thought the birdie putt on number 12 was his shot of the day. Now granted he did hit that great shot out of the trees and IF he had made the putt for Eagle than yes that would have been the Shot Of The Day. But at that stage of the Tournament when Westwood and Mickelson were dueling back and forth, I think after that birdie at Amen Corner, Mickelson knew in his heart of hearts that he was playing some of the best golf of his career.

Three thoughts. KJ Choi was right there in the thick of things until he had that bunker shot and he hit it fat and just got it out. That one mental error seem to throw the rest of his game of kilter and he struggled somewhat for the rest of the back nine. Something you cannot afford to do on Sunday at Augusta now matter how well you played the front nine. Fred Couples had so many opportunities and did not capitalize. Those putts on the front nine, just were nowhere near going in. I would have thought he would have not left them short, but with those greens maybe he knew it might go 15 feet by, however you gotta think he also knows he had to get the ball to the hole for it to have a chance. Just can't leave them that short on Sunday at Augusta Fred. It was a great weekend of Golf Action and the Tournament just seems to get better every year. As someone else said, it never disappoints.

Its been hidden 3-4 years ago but they are gonna bring up the new stuff now which is totally private and nothing like what Tiger has done. Sorry for the people that has been whiping phils bootie!! Helluva round by Phil yesterday to get his 3rd Greenie though!! He had 3 g's bet on Westwood so he got ahead pretty good there!!

I still think it was the shot of the day even after missing the eagle putt. Sure Phil was a little discouraged after misreading the line but he pulled away after that hole. I think the shot out of the trees gave him the confidence he needed to win.

I watched three shots at the Masters.
Day 1: some clown taking 10 minutes to decide to take a drop, after he finally realized a tree branch was in the way of his follow through.
Phils amazing shot out of the trees.
Phils final putt for birdie on 18.
Plus, Phil greeting his wife and receiving the green jacket.
No see, Tiger the douchbag.
Phil all class....Congratulations, you earned it!!

One was SI but its all junk to me....I just hate that people try to find things to ruin peoples lives. MJ was another but im just saying I wouldnt be suprised if some crap came out. I saw last night about some affair and swingers and some illegitimate child. But like I said, you gotta pick your beliefs. You can google any of that and youll see the garbage floating around

Being a "lefty" myself I was glad to see Phil win. But I think winning at Augusta was a very good example that there are horses for courses. Like Mickelson said, Augusta is a pretty forgiving course when he's not totally "on the mark" with his driver. And it totally favors his game. The US Open, and many times the PGA isn't usually so forgiving. Phil will need to tighten it up with his driver if he hopes to win more than just the the Masters this year. Having said that, I was glad to see Phil get another major under his belt. I've followed him around twice in tournements. And the amount of talent he has in shaping the ball along with his short game is simply amazing when you see it in person.. When he gets in trouble is when his on course gambles don't work. For the most part he's learned to harness those temptations. But if he knew then what he knows now, I firmly believe he would be giving Tiger a run for his money in major wins.

VD...I can think of a lot of majors over the years where Mickelson ended up 2nd or 3rd because he freewheeled it around the course thinking he could do anything. The US Open a couple years ago was a good example of it. In his overconfidence in his abilities he pulls out a driver instead of a 3 wood on the 18th tee and then sprays it left. And it costs him a major. He was even worse at taking gambles early in his career. I think if he had played the game he plays now he woud have had at least 5 to 7 more majors on his resume. Which would have put him at around 10 majors. Not far behind Woods. And Woods may have won a couple less majors if Mickelson had played his cards right. I've follwed both of these great golfers around, and I see very little difference in their games. I think the biggest difference between the two is what happens above the shoulders. Woods is just very good at thinking his way around the course, and at the same time getting inside opponents heads. I'm starting to wonder a little if Woods has lost a some of his edge over his opponents. I guess we'll find out this year after Woods gets a few more tournaments under his belt..

The guys who have a right to complain are the ones not named Tiger or Phil, they got 90% of the coverage it seemed. Couples got a bit as did Choi and Westwood but everybody else forget about it. A handful of times they showed someone making a great putt and thats about it. Too much Tiger&Phil Show already. that said Phil was fantastic and that may have been his best ever.
