Goblue we are all aware of your sharp betting tactics in finding the value in the lines but why don't you elaborate so that people can learn from this type of thread rather than being so cryptic.

i understand the value in betting the +1.5 but isn't it better taking the ML in those games, what are stats on how many games end up being 1 run games

quite often when i take a dog: half the bet on the ML, half the bet on +1.5

you have to play with the juice, but I like to have the game essentially +1 even money.

last night with the brew crew - oftentimes it is amazing value on big dogs to bet this way....agree with doubledeuce -- good way to 'insure' your dog bets...definitely less stress when the game is tied up late, especially with a road dog since it takes a multi-run homer to lose in that case
