OGLEBAY PARK, LGA USED TO BEHELD THERE, HAD ARNOLD PALMER design golf course, dog racing & full casino 2-3 miles away. Oglebay park, IS ALMOST HEAVEN,IT IS BEAUTIFUL.

No resort but a couple of mines but I wouldn't stay in them

yes, charleston is very nice....if you like to gamble, they have a dog race track with table games.....all the major hotels, and restaurants there...



a few places with nice resorts are a few mentioned in previous posts.....

the greenbrier is the nicest resort ....the pga tour will be coming there the last week of july.....

a few other resorts not mentioned are glade springs in beckley, which is 50 miles south of charleston....they have a very nice golf course there....

down around beckley,wv they do have a mine where they do tours, kinda take you down into an old mine....
