The Seahawks have reportedly held "internal discussions" about a potential Lynch trade. Buffalo's asking price of a second-rounder could be a serious obstacle, however, as Lynch's off-the-field history and commitment concerns lower his value. Seattle's new coaching staff is understandably "not sold" on Julius Jones, and Lynch's best friend, Justin Forsett, is viewed as a committee back. As of yet, the two teams have not talked.

guy is not used to his potential at all...would love to have him on my team, and yes i'd give up a "unknown commodity" in the 2nd round, for a guy with his talent.....

he got lost in the shuffle last year, in taht horrendous season in Buffalo...

Buffalo smoking some good pcp if they think anyone is giving up a 2nd round pick for Lynch. Tons of talent, tons of issues. Like previous posters said, 4th round pick at best.

Maybe a 4th round pick at best. He's entering his 4th year which means his career is halfway over already Not to mention he's coming off a down year. Thats always bad news for a running back, it's not exactly a luck dependent position where your success depends on luck. Going into last season he was worth a number two now it is pushing it.

I agree with bucs, if I needed a RB I would consider a 2nd rounder.

The guy is young and people are forgetting his first 2 seasons & seem to only be remembering last season when he got hurt & didn't play much when he returned because Fred Jackson was playing so well any coach would have had to been crazy to take take him out.....

As a Seahawks fan I won't be real pleased if they give up a 2nd for Lynch. Then again, it looked like they were seriously considering giving Denver a 1st for Marshall so nothing would surprise me at this point.

They should have dealed last year.

haha......Yeah.....Seems like every team would have learned a great lesson from the Cleveland Browns holding onto QB's Derek Anderson & Brady Quinn for too long when they could have unloaded one or both of them at one point & received great compensation...

Someone will give up a conditional pick at best, maybe SD.
