Zack Greinke will be overpriced all season, teams have figured out the best way to approach Zack which is to be patient and lay off his slider..

Royals have a horrible bullpen too..

Greinke will still be a good pitcher, just not the great pitcher he was last season and will offer no value whatsoever..

Don't be afraid to bet against him..

1 earned run in the first game, got shelled pretty good in the second... I would wait a bit before saying he won't have value. He will adjust. I am a Royals fan, so that may be a biased opinion, but I also submit to you that the bullpen is absolutely terrible. Having watched every game so far, the Royals would be 8-1 if they had any kind of a bullpen. Only games they lost were games the bullpen blew the lead, other than Greinke's second game (would have lost that either way, bullpen or not). That was a legitimate bad outing, but that happens to everyone.

While I agree he will be overpriced, he still has value. I would look more at playing 1st 5 inning bets though, as the bullpen will no doubt let you down if you bet on the Royals. Just my opinion. I have faith in a guy who won the Cy Young. Nobody figured him out all of last year, and I have no reason to think any different this year. Not saying he will win the Cy Young again, but he is still one of the best.
