Locking this one in tonight. My first 4* play of the season. I will be back on Monday morning with maybe a couple more plays. For those that can't get the -1 ... I would still take -1.5, but at 3 units instead of 4 units. Best bet is -1 though!

Hey sir..I just started looking into your posts recently and liking your stuff.

May I ask where you have found that line of -115?

by creating my own 1 line I can reduce it to -128 at best but if I can grab it at -115 it is better since I'm very stingy when it comes to paying juice Thanks mate

I hope you don't mind me including this in your thread. But for those of you who don't have a spot that you can lay -1 here is a formula. This example is risking $100.

Boston -1.61
Boston -1.5 +1.30

Take 100/161 = .6211
Add 1 to .6211 = 1.6211
Take 100 and divide by 1.6211 = 61.68

Bet 61.68 at -1.61 to win 38.31
Bet 38.31 at -1.5 (+1.30) to win 49.80

You have just bet the RL at -1

Thanks I'm very well aware of how to creat this as I do it quite often especially in hockey where you save quite a bit from the "1goal" posted lines by the books.

can't find the -160 on boston to do that.. lowest ive got is -172.

I guess I will probably wait then for the line to drop down to 160 (i hope)

still my question stands b/c I'm interested in books that offer good valued 1 run lines

Right now Pinnacle is offering -1 at -1.18

But by using Matchbook at ML -1.61 & Pinnacle RL -1.5 +1.30 you can reduce the juice down to roughly -1.14

I'm sure you do know how to calculate the -1 formula, but it was included for those that don't.

I have a feeling Lackey struggles today with the strange start time and possibilities of showers & temp around 15C. Boston bats are not preforming well either... I am taking Tampa + the cash..

I took Boston ML-169 mostly because i don't think they'll get swept. But the no sweeps weren't good today. Only Milw came thru for me. Even Toronto got swept at home too.

This is never a good reason to play a team.

Caps weren't supposed to lose to Montreal, almost lost both. Lots of hockey teams that weren't supposed to lose did. Yes, its a different sport but same message. NCAA tourney plenty of upsets too. Nats beat Phils last week, then the explosive Philly offense went silent. You can never take anything for granted, even avoiding series sweeps.

Boston bats are quiet right now, missing some players too. I would hate to lay a lot of juice with this team right now. Tampa bats are waking up too. Over the last 6 games Boston has scored 2-3-0-1-5-1. Maybe tomorrow they turn things around. JBragg has been tremendous thus far, so maybe he is on to a Boston turnaround.

Not busting your balls. I've just seen this line of reasoning go up in flames many times. BOL to you and JBragg.
