Come playoff time in any sport, should posters/cappers start over & keep a separate playoff record of total wins & units won/lost, or continue with the same regular season record?

would imagine if just matters what the capper wants to do....doesnt really matter, as they are still counting everything....

as a rule, u can figure, if they won good during reg season, they'll combine em, if they lost, they'll start over fresh for the "playoff run"...

I agree with this. It should be up to the original poster.

What difference does it make? Not like anything is at stake.

I look at the play-offs as a completely different season. I prefer separate records, because I've found that just because a capper has a good/bad regular season does not guarantee the same result during the play-offs.
