Not sure if the carrier means anything as I am in Canada and use a crackberry curve 8350i on the Telus network. The best scores app and it it is free, imagine that is THE SCORE app. easy to use- updates seem to be instant. The closer you are to a city the quicker response you get from it though. Living in the sticks, I still get all the info I need, and use the BOOKMAKER app when lines are right to play at BOOKMAKER.

Have not gone that far into it as I can't carry it at work. ESPN has a mobile app and believe there are alerts on that one, but It is more like the website, don't think it was designed for the crackberry.
Chech out the website for the Blackberry apps.

Thas page should have SCOREMOBILE on it. The pages are extremely sluggish on that site when they load so be patient and it is not your computer or service provider.

TheRx should create an app for Iphones/Blackberrys. It'd be a number one seller.

I have a Blackberry Bold. Awesome phone. Had the curve before i got this one and it was ok. I never had a problem with it. The Bold is head and shoulders above the Curve that i had. As far as apps.....i have only downleaded Pandora and that's about it. I will mess with my phone here soon and let you know wht i find out. I could use an app with Live Scores!!

The Bold has an icon that says app world where you can go in and download a shit load of sports score update free apps. There is one on here that is called NHL GameCenter which is $79.99 that has Scores, Stats, Ice Tracker & Play-by Play, Game Photos, Schedule, Standings, News, Player Profiles, NHL New Mobile Websire, Add your Favorite Team, an upgrade that has condensed games, LIVE Game Radio and Video Highlights. Pretty sweet.

79.99 for a scores app is a heck of alot.

I Have the curve 8530...

I agree. I would never pay 80 bucks for an app on a phone. I downloaded the same exact app for free. I'm not sure why its 80 and then they offer the same app below it for free, but whatever. I down;oaded the free one and its awesome. Shit load of info and live scores.....all the stuff i listed above.
