No time to get into panic-mode. I've been on such a shitty streak though lately I may be a good fade for ya (which isn't my goal).

Three games today that I like with a short write-up on each:

1* St. Louis Cardinals +130

Cards are going against Haren but they have Lohse on the mound who has been pretty good in limited appearances against the D-Back lineup. It's hard not to take the Cards with their explosive lineup and I expect Pujols to get out of his mini-slump (the last two days). Some stats from rotowire:

Adam LaRoche v. Kyle Lohse – 4-for-19 (.211), 0 HR, 1 RBI, 1:3 BB:K (.250 OBP)
Stephen Drew v. Kyle Lohse – 2-for-12 (.167), 0 HR, 0 RBI, 0:1 BB:K (.167 OBP)
Kelly Johnson v. Kyle Lohse – 2-for-10 (.200), 0 HR, 0 RBI, 0:1 BB:K (.200 OBP)
Chris Young v. Kyle Lohse – 2-for-10 (.200), 1 HR, 2 RBI, 0:2 BB:K (.200 OBP)

Other games to follow...

2* Florida Marlins -120

Love betting against the Astros here, don't see them beating the Marlins who are quietly winning games. I really like this team and Houston won't keep up with these guys. Myers is a head case and I don't see him lasting past the 5th. Some stats from rotowire:

Dan Uggla v. Brett Myers – 14-for-37 (.378), 5 HR, 14 RBI, 2:9 BB:K (.410 OBP)
Hanley Ramirez v. Brett Myers – 10-for-28 (.357), 1 HR, 3 RBI, 3:6 BB:K (.419 OBP)
Jorge Cantu v. Brett Myers – 6-for-14 (.429), 1 HR, 4 RBI, 0:1 BB:K (.429 OBP)

Uggla's BB:K ratio is a little unnerving, but on the other hand, so are his HR and RBI stats unnerving to Myers.

1.5* Philadelphia Phillies +145

Tommy Hanson is really tough to bet against, trust me, I hate doing it. I can see this one staying a pretty low-scoring game and if it is a run that seperates these two teams, I'll gamble with the +145. Honestly, that is my reasoning. May have a play on the under, but I like this game. Kendrick needs to have a decent outing if he wants to stay in the big leagues after Blanton comes back and I think this is the game to do it.

Thanks Pike, thing is with the overs, it seems like a pretty popular play around here and the number being at 8.5 is a little sketchy. Good Luck to you with whatever you decide on.

Alright, one more before I head off to the Nebraska/Creighton game...

1* LA Angels -130

Like Kazmir again, Detroit hitters can't seem to figure him out.

Good Luck.
