As I said yesterday if this line came out at -135 or better I would make this a 3 unit play....Well...the line came out at -135 but I decided to make this only a 1 unit play...Reason being is Tampa is HOT....Any team that is riding a 7 game winning streak this early into the season has their offense firing on all cylinders....I still like this as a play as the pitching match up should make for a low scoring game I just have to respect Tampa's offense at this point....

Both teams still struggling offensively and you have the revitalized Pelfrey against Zambrano on the mound.....I am more worried about Zambrano's pitching woes than Pelfrey so I am also making this bet very small but feel there is very good value at -130......Hopefully Zambrano turns his game around tonight at least for the 1st Inning.

Not playing a another 1st inning bet as there are much better days than today..Am happy that Mets/Cubs game was a winner and hoping that Tampa/Chicago game wins tonight as well....Want to put two other plays out there that I feel have a great chance to hit tonight.

Astros getting into a little groove after a terrible start to the season. Of course having Lance Berkman back in the line up is a tremendous reason for this bet...Even if he goes 0-5 tonight the moral boost should help this offense puts some runs on the board tonight...Added to the fact that Volstad has been shaky at times and has a 4.97 ERA against the Astros I feel comfortable that the Astros at least score 4 and possibly alot more runs...I am hopeful that the Astros have 5 runs by the 6th inning tonight....Just a gut feeling

St. Louis TT OVER 3.5
I know Dan Haren is a great pitcher but this line just jumped out at me...Maybe I'm a sucker on this bet but I cannot see how St. Louis scores less than 4 runs today...Of course St. Louis has been struggling slightly recently but don't be mistaken...This team may have the best offensive line up in baseball and I think (hope) Haren will struggle against the bats of St. Louis....The only time I wouldn't take this bet for St. Louis is against a handful of pitchers ( Lincy, Halladay, etc.) but Haren is not in that category this year....I may be eating my words but I see this bet going over in the 5th inning....

Well another 3-1 night tonight...Ironically the only loss was the title of this thread...lol....Anyway...hit my biggest play of the year so far with St. Louis TT over 3.5 easily hitting by the 3rd Inning....Gonna play NBA OKC small on -6 and ML for shits and giggles....
