Love great pitching duels....

Gonna play ( when the lines come out)

No score 1st Inning, Under 1st 5 innings, Under for the game, and maybe Under team total for both teams...

Not placing any bets yet....Just drooling@)

with the line holding at 6.5 I was actually thinking this might be a good over...and even take a stab at the dog +160

I am thinking the opposite. I think the 6.5 over is ridiculously good looking. Both teams do have great starters going and amazing ERA's, but really 6.5 runs total?

winds are blowing out at 5-15 mph apparently and both teams score an avg. of around 5 runs a game.

So we're both drooling over it, but for completely opposite reasons.

I'm wondering what I'm missing. I was really just thinking about pounding the over

and while I can see the Cards losing, I think +160 is way too high, though Lincecum is 3-0 vs Stl

Winds apparently blowing out at 5-15 mph. so what i think the game is begin played tomorrow night right? who knows what the wind will be doing at that time.

I was told betting over 6.5s makes $$ long term.

This under looks extremely obvious, SF is horrible offensively right now and their lineup is horrible against LHP..

Looks like a 3-1 final type game..

Usually when you get games like this, ace v. ace. one side scores like six or so runs and game goes 'over'

Well....didn't expect a 6.5 line...That is damn low but still would not touch the over at any line on this game...Could easily see this game as a 2-1 or 1-0 type of game but Cards do have great bats and can explode at anytime against anyone.....Would love it if someone has stats on when a total is less than 7 what percentage of those games go over. I bet it is very small but don't have the stats to prove...Here's what I think about the obvious bets

St. Louis at +160 is the OBVIOUS play

Any game with the Cards and the total is less then 7 is a gift from the gambling Gods.

Well I don't like obvious plays and I will wait till the public pushes the total to 7 or maybe even 7.5 by gametime ( already the juice on 6.5 is -130)

My suggestion to anyone that loves the over is to play it now as the 6.5 line should be gone by noon.

I agree, locked up the cards for a small play at +155, there is definite value there.

Right, except the Cards aren't facing a lefty, they are facing Lincecum.
The Giants are the one facing the lefty.

Pounding the over in this game? Why? Giants haven't hit for 5 games, Garcia pitching outstanding, and the Cardinals have never touched Lincecum.
